Coach Hulgan began his basketball career at Collinsville High School in 2016 as the assistant girls and boys basketball coach. Last year was his first year as head coach of the Collinsville Lady Panthers. Since his first year here he has helped lead the basketball programs to two area titles, one regional title, and the 2020 2A state championship. Not only is Coach Hulgan the head girl’s basketball coach, he teaches civics to our seventh graders, and drives one of the school buses. Throughout his time here at Collinsville, he has made a big impact on each kid whether it was him teaching or coaching. Coach Hulgan always strives to make a difference in everyone’s life even if they don’t take it to heart.
One thing he always says that makes an impact on our players is, “Shock the World.” Shock the world is a big thing for our team this year. No one believes that we have a chance to be able to beat our big area opponents, but he'll remind us everyday that if we all work together and put in 110% effort we always have a chance at beating our opponents, and we are just as talented as the opposing teams we face.
