This month's staff member of the month goes to Ms. Amber Whitton, one of Collinsville's 3rd grade teachers.
Panther Press Interview Questions:
PP: What is your favorite food?
AW: Definitely steak fajitas and nachos.
PP: Do you have any favorite hobbies?
AW: I love to play with my dogs.
PP: What do you like to do in your free time?
AW: I like watching TV, seeing movies, and hanging out with my friends.
PP: How long have you been teaching?
AW: This is actually my 21st year!
PP: What grades have you taught over the years?
AW: I’ve taught 5th, 4th, and 3rd/
PP: What's your favorite thing about teaching?
AW: Being able to see the light bulb that goes off whenever a student understands something.
PP: If you weren't teaching, what career would you have pursued?
AW: I would probably be a baker.
PP: What subjects do you teach?
AW: I actually teach all subjects in 3rd grade, but reading would have to be my favorite subject over everything else.
