After several years of the same books, the library finally received new, updated books! Here at Collinsville High School, in the month of November, new books have arrived and we are so excited! This time, they are a lot more interesting. From graphic novels to mystery books and even manga, the library has incorporated more diverse books to choose from. If students are interested, you are welcome to come check them out before first period or during break.
Our librarian, Mrs. Wilks, welcomes you to check them out and come to the library more often. After checking out what is currently available and researching the most popular titles for school aged children, the librarian decided on several different books. One of the books chosen is of a popular Netflix series called, “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.” This book follows a 17-year-old crime enthusiast on an investigation of a murder-suicide case. Also among the selection of new books is some manga which include, “My Hero Academia,” and “Naruto.” There are also some graphic novels available such as the popular “Wings of Fire” series and the “I Survived” series. Along with these are several other books and novels of different genres such as romance, historical, fantasy, and mystery.
Currently, a few students have checked some of the books out and reported that the books were a lot more interesting than they thought the books would be. With that said, please come check out the library for more fun and exciting books. We hope that you enjoy what they have and encourage you to continue reading!
